Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at hello@peninsulainfusions.com.au if you cannot find an answer to your question.

IV nutrient infusion is a therapy that delivers vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients directly into the bloodstream through a vein, allowing for faster and more effective absorption compared to oral supplements.

Depending on your specific needs, benefits may include:

  • Increased energy and vitality
  • Immune system support
  • Improved hydration
  • Better skin, hair, and nail health
  • Recovery support after illness or stress
  • Enhanced mood and mental clarity
  • Detoxification support

Yes, IV therapy is generally safe when administered by qualified healthcare professionals. At Peninsula Infusions, all treatments are administered by trained nurses in a controlled clinical environment, with nutrients sourced from high-quality, TGA-compliant suppliers.

Most infusions take between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of drip and your individual needs. You’ll be seated comfortably in a relaxing space for the duration of your session.

Frequency depends on your wellness goals and the specific infusion. Some clients come in weekly or fortnightly for maintenance, while others book infusions as needed during times of stress, travel, or illness. We’re happy to help you create a tailored wellness plan.

Some people feel more energised or relaxed shortly after their infusion, while others may notice benefits over the next 24–48 hours. A small number of people may feel lightheaded briefly after their first infusion — rest assured, this is monitored closely

Yes. We offer a range of infusion options and can tailor treatments to your unique needs after a consultation. This ensures you’re getting the right balance of nutrients to support your individual wellbeing.

Not always. However, for certain nutrients or underlying conditions, we may recommend recent blood work or collaborate with your healthcare provider to ensure safe and effective treatment. For optimal wellness and ongoing IV Nutrient Infusions specific Micronutrient testing and other screening via blood tests may be indicated.

IV therapy is not suitable for individuals with certain health conditions (e.g. kidney disease, specific heart conditions, or electrolyte imbalances). We screen all clients thoroughly before beginning treatment to ensure safety.
