How do Infusions work?

Intravenous (IV) Therapy is a straightforward medical procedure designed to deliver fluids, medications, nutrition, and other necessary compounds directly into the bloodstream. This method bypasses systems such as the gastrointestinal tract, which can be particularly advantageous when the gut is compromised and the absorption of specific nutrients and minerals may be inadequate. Additionally, IV Therapy minimizes the gastrointestinal disturbances that certain medications can cause, thereby reducing unwanted side effects. The rapid administration of IV infusions results in quicker therapeutic effects, allowing for a more efficient treatment process.
